Homecoming 2009’s main focus is to make sure FIU students are aware of all FIU traditions and to make sure they partake in this wonderful experience that will make their college years very memorable. FIU Spirit Pep Rally
GO FIU!! Come out and motivate our Football team to play its best! This year’s Pep Rally will take place at the Betty Chapman Plaza (In front of the Gram Center). We will have tons of free give ways, DJ’s, Drinks, and MUCH MORE! Come out and enjoy some serious FIU spirit! Pep Rally will start promptly at 12pm!

Panther Prowl Comedy Show
Kick back, relax and laugh! As this is one of the biggest events of the week where we bring in well known comedians that will truly make you laugh! This event will take place at the Century Bank Arena. Tickets are required and can be picked up at Campus life, GC 2240. Doors open at 7:30, event starts at 8PM.

Lip Sync Around the World • Agir! Bailar! Cantare!
Come check out FIU’s most talented students!! This year’s Lip sync for the first time ever will feature a talent portion where students can sing, dance and showcase all their greatest talents! This is a show you won’t want to miss! The show starts promptly at 8PM and it is located in the Century Bank Arena.

King and Queen Voting
King and Queen voting will take place from 9am-5pm at the GC Labs. Vote and receive free food!! Come visit us in the PIT area for more information. Students can also vote online at my.fiu.edu.
Winners will be announced at the Homecoming Football game half-time show!

Homecoming Spirit Parade
Come watch as organizations showcase their impressive spirited floats in our FIU Parade, followed by the FIU Dazzlers, cheerleaders, Banners, Spirit Cars and SO MUCH MORE! This year’s Gran Marshall will be President Rosenberg! This is a parade you wont want to miss!! Parade starts between the gold and blue garages at 4PM.

FIU Ultra
Come party with FIU’s most popular event! Featuring the best DJ’s in town! FIU Ultra is one big party out in the streets! Located between the Blue and Gold Garage, this event will last from 8pm - 2am!
