Miami Heat / 99 JAMZ / Artist Related

Dominating any venue and infusing every party with his seemingly infinite energy, DJ Irie has captivated the entire industry. Voted 2005's Best Club DJ by the Miami New Times, Irie's passion, enthusiasm and particularly charming personality set him apart. Although Miami is his stomping ground, on the national level DJ Irie is impossible to miss. As official DJ to Jamie Foxx and the 2006 NBA World Champion Miami HEAT, and with appearances from MTV's Total Request Live to the Nickelodeon Teen Choice Awards, DJ Irie knows no boundaries.
The youngest of three boys, DJ Irie was born in St. Croix and raised in Miami, FL. Schooled in Jamaica, at a private boarding school, he was introduced to his first and only true love, music. With a home made beat machine, constructed from a walkman and speakers, combined with Grammy winning and multi-platinum reggae phenomenon-roommate Sean Paul's Casio, DJ Irie was born.
During the daytime hours, as DJ of the most listened to mix-show on Miami's WEDR 99Jamz, Irie spins his favorite records three days a week, (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) on "The Drive at 5". He also holds the #1 weekend slot on Saturday nights from 10pm-Midnight with the "Saturday Night Thunderstorm", rocking the weekend airwaves.
For DJ Irie, music and sports also seem to go hand in hand. As the official DJ of the 2006 NBA World Champions Miami HEAT, Irie is known in the American Airlines Arena by fans and players alike, for his immeasurable enthusiasm and ability to play the beats that get fans out of their seats. His energy is contagious, and for the fifth season in a row, Irie is steadily playing his position keeping the HEAT on fire.
But he doesn't stop there. Irie is a mainstay in the Bahamas where he travels close to 15 times per year to spin at the extensive clubs, beach and holiday parties. 2007's bill included the grand opening of Aura Nightclub Atlantis Resort. And you can find DJ Irie at other major events such as The Heineken House Party in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and Hawaii. His travels also take him frequently to Europe to headline at clubs in Germany, Switzerland and Austria among other countries, where his name and talent are well known and highly anticipated.
Branching out in the music industry also seemed like a natural progression for DJ Irie, and his consulting firm, Artist Related, has already made a name for itself with a roster of well known DJ's such as: DJ E-Rock, DJ NVS Styles, DJ Knowledge and DJ Ross 1 of NY. Artist Related has been named the official entertainment company for the ever-exclusive Casa Casuarina (Versace Mansion).
DJ Irie is also a philanthropic entrepreneur who uses his skills to benefit others. Irie has created the annual IRIE WEEKEND and the Miami Family Festival, both of which benefit the Miami HEAT Charitable Fund. Irie also makes himself available to other charitable groups he admires such as: The Special Olympics, Udonis Haslem Foundation, Overtown Youth Center, Alonzo Mourning Charities, Odessa Chambers Foundation, Ronnie Brown Foundation, The United Way, Jason Taylor Foundation and numerous groups benefiting Hurricane Katrina victims. DJ Irie has been featured in Us Weekly, Playboy Magazine, ESPN the Magazine, Ocean Drive and teamed up with adidas to launch the DJ Irie EQT B-Ball shoe.

KAENO
The Vanishing Point / Sirius & XM Satellite Radio / 1899 Recordings
http://www.djkaenow.com
In today’s global-internet saturated culture, it’s difficult to stand out from the rest. Deon Butler is a success story in his “iEMPIRE,” taking a radio show from the nineties and bringing it to the 21st century. Kaeno / Kaenow (Deon Butler) began his musical journey at the age of 13, and began melding vinyl beats not long after. After graduating from high school, he attended Florida International University, where he first started his career as a radio DJ. His first show aired in 1999 called The Vanishing Point, encompassing the EDM genres popular at the time: Progressive, Trance, House and Tribal.
The radio show soared to new heights making it one of the most listened to college radio stations in Miami, eventually winning the Miami New Times best Radio Station in 2007. At the time, the electronic music scene in Miami was growing exponentially, rivaling the typical Pop/Hip-Hop that ruled Saturday Night parties on Miami Beach. Kaeno & Alexander were at the top of Miami’s playlist, and were performing under the moniker “System Shock.”
After finishing his residency at Zanzibar, Kaeno graced the decks at some of South Florida’s most legendary clubs and festival. The Vanishing Point went online with iTUNES three years ago, creating an enhanced Podcast for download. Recently, TVP reached 50,000 downloads, making Kaeno’s show one of the most listened to and downloaded EDM shows in the U.S.A and across the world. Over the past ten years, Kaeno has released countless tracks and mixes. You can experience Kaeno’s profound genius through his website.
