Life at FIU is More Than Just Going to Class

Walk to the Graham center and join a club, or go outside and take a seat with the yoga class on the lawn. Join a fraternity or sorority and go Greek, or if you have the voice, apply at our radio station: the Roar. Here at FIU, we encourage you to get out there and become a member of the FIU family.

Year-round Fun in the Tropical Sun

Here in South Florida the seasons don't change too much. But you'll know it's fall when football, volleyball and soccer season arrive. It's also time for Homecoming, when you join your FIU family at tailgates and in the stands to cheer our athletes, unleash your panther spirit at Panthermonium Concert and so much more.

In spring and summer, you can dance all night at Roarthon. Year-round, you'll see musicians, celebrities and inspiring individuals who come to speak or perform right here on campus.
